Meet Marci

A short subheading required

My name is Marci. I’ve been living overseas since the age of 19 . . . even longer in my dreams. I have lived extensively in the United States, France, Morocco, and Spain and traveled to more than 30 countries. I’m very much a “global nomad.” I’m an American, married to a Frenchman, with four boys. We even have a male dog. Life is not always fair!

My hobbies include writing, storytelling, music, languages, cultures, and travel. I also collect giraffes and love Dr. Pepper and McDonalds french fries. Please don’t tell!

My background and training include teaching French and ESL, language and cultural acquisition coaching, orality and storytelling, and humanitarian work among immigrants. I also enjoy writing articles for See Beyond and other publications, cultural stories on my blog, and children’s books and personal memoir.

I speak English, French, and Moroccan Arabic. I currently live in Spain and am studying Spanish, but I am far from being fluent!

My newest passions are life coaching and debriefing. I am an ACC Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. I enjoy walking alongside people, allowing them to tell their story and unravel their knotted ball of yarn called "life." Sometimes, we just can’t do that on our own. I also love asking powerful questions to help people process their life story. It’s amazing to watch people on their journey as they discover new truths and insights, see different angles of a situation, explore uncharted possibilities, and find encouragement and motivation to move forward in their dreams, life goals, objectives, and desired areas of personal growth and change.

I would love to journey with you and hear your story!
