Transforming Conflict Coaching

Let Us Walk With You

Ready for change in your conflict situation?

We’ve already lost too many teams and individuals to unhealthy conflict. You don’t have to just endure conflict. The best relationships grow through conflict, and we can show you how. We offer more than anecdotal advice and quick tips — those don’t cut it. We offer evidence-based knowledge, skills, and the practice needed to navigate conflict well.

Are you sensing tension and can’t quite identify why? Are you entering a potential conflict? Our Transforming Conflict Coaching can help you untangle the pieces and move forward with or without the cooperation of other parties involved.

Transforming Conflict Coaching is Ideal for . . .

  • Those who have been trying unsuccessfully for some time to navigate an ongoing conflict

  • Those who know an upcoming tension-filled conversation could use some pre-work

  • Those who want to act preventively for personal or professional development

  • Those who are in conflict with others who don’t want to change or refuse to acknowledge the conflict

  • Those who want to navigate the tensions of team life in order to create higher-functioning teams

Coaching With Training Included

A good friend does wonders for helping us through difficult times, but not all good friends have the resources, skills, and experience needed to help us gain traction. We’ll provide solid research-based input and training, but even more importantly, a certified coach. This coach will be a supportive and knowledgeable outside source for encouragement and accountability.

We’ll include training pieces during or in between sessions, chosen specifically for your situation.

A coach? What’s that? People use the term with vastly different meanings. We see coaching as an ongoing, conversational relationship that brings about new awareness through profound listening and powerful questions. Specifically, your coach will help you process what stood out to you from training pieces you’ve done in or outside the coaching session, ask in what areas you want to grow, help you explore that area as it connects to your life, then support you as you decide what action will help you move forward.

How Does It Work?

Coaching is a professional relationship designed to help you navigate the challenges and wounds of life.

1

Start with a debrief. We’ve found getting your whole story out and discovering what is at the heart of it is the most helpful place to start.

3

Together, we’ll choose the topic and training for the next session that will help you move toward your goal of successfully navigating this conflict.

2

Each time we meet, you’ll receive some input or training, customized for your unique situation, on topics you’ll need to successfully navigate the conflict—even if the other person isn’t working on it with you.

Then, we’ll help you process how that topic uniquely applies to your specific situation. We’ll use profound, other-centered listening and carefully chosen, open questions to help you explore what’s inside of you that’s playing a role in this conflict.

We’ll help you choose plans to put into action what you are learning before we meet again, with the end goal of having a productive conversation with the other party (in most cases). This may include homework pieces related to the next training topic.
